Night to Unite
Night to Unite is a nationwide, annual event that offers residents a unique opportunity to get to know their neighbors, chat with local law enforcement and public officials, and ultimately build a safer community.
I will be attending my local Night to Unite event in my own neighborhood before visiting Nowthen for theirs as well.

Elk River Weekend of Action
Join the Senate District 30 Democrats and DFL-endorsed candidate for Senate District 30 Leah Temple and House District 30B endorsed candidate Keenan Gentry for a doorknock on Sunday, August 16th at 12pm OR 3:30pm, where we'll be reaching out to voters across the district to support our DFL-endorsed candidates up and down the ballot!
Never knocked before? Don't worry! Training is provided and you'll knock in pairs.
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and plan for the weather! Even if you can't come for the whole time, stopping by for part of the time makes a huge difference.
Come out, meet your neighbors, and help ensure every voice is heard!

Trivia Night with SD29 & SD30
I’ll be joining my fellow candidates from 30 and 29 for a trivia night. Join us for an evening of community, conversation, and political trivia. We’ll be gathering for an open house and trivia night to connect with old friends, meet new ones, and talk about ways to make a difference this year. Food and drink will be provided along with a prize for our winner.

Elk River Planning Commission
The Elk River Planning commission will be holding another meeting on the proposed Data Center at 19178 Industrial blvd. I am unaware at this time if there will be a public comment during this meeting.

Gentry Door Knocking!
We are kicking off door knocking with the Gentry campaign. We are planning weekly door knocks that are volunteer led throughout 30B. If you are interested in door knocking don’t hesitate to reach out. Look for future door knocking events on Mobilize and FB.

728 Community Alliance is hosting picnic in the parks once a month at different parks throughout the 728-school district. This month will be in Otsego.
Elk River City Council Meeting
Elk River is having public comment about the proposed Data Center in Elk River. I plan to attend this City Council meeting.
Albertville Parade
I will be walking in the Albertville Friendly City Days parade in support of Leah Temple. You can find us between Doug Chapin and SD30.
Picnic at Prairie Park
Come join SD30 for a Picnic at Prairie Park in Otsego on May 9th from 11:30-2:30. Come for a little bit, or the whole time, and join your friends, neighbors, and other likeminded folks for burgers, hotdogs, and more. Enjoy company and food in a casual setting, chat with our local SD30 DFL-endorsed candidates, and learn about the work we are doing to flip our seats from red to blue.

I will be joining Leah Temple for SD30 for craft night. Stop in with your kiddos to make a mosaic mirror, mobile, or coloring page while you chat with the candidates running to represent District 30!
If you feel you can, please bring a gently used book to donate to our local mutual aid community organizations.
Elk River City Council Meeting
Elk River City Council meeting. Agenda will be posted before the meeting and will be available at the city hall as well.
Door Knocking with Doug Chapin
Doug will be out door knocking in Elk River until about 4 pm. If you would like to volunteer, there are 2 links on mobilize that I will post below.
But before the door knocking can commence there will be a picnic starting at 11 am. Additionally, the Republican convention will be occurring at the High School and Tom Emmer will be Vying for endorsement and will be there. They are also planning a protest from 11 am to noon at the same location. The protest and picnic is not an official event, but a volunteer led plan.

The Mayor of Nowthen is having coffee Saturday morning. As a candidate that would represent the City of Nowthen, it’s my responsibility to get to know the local government along with the residents.
I look forward to Meeting Mayor Hybben and getting to know and the residents of Nowthen.

Meet other like-minded folks, learn about the work that we're doing to support our party's efforts in the fall election to turn races up and down the ballot from red to blue, and find out about how you can make a difference!

We will be collection donations for local mutual aid groups as well. This week we are looking for newborn clothing, and baby supplies. If you have supplies like baby boy clothing, bibs, burp rags, toys, pacis, etc. that you don't need you are more than welcome to bring those and we will make sure to get those to mothers in need. Earth Day Talk: The Environmental Impact of Data Centers
My friend Colton Kratky who’s running for SD29B is hosting an Environmental talk for Earth Day.
Come listen and share information this earth day as we talk about the impact datacenters have on the environment, what are the ways to mitigate that impact, and what can we legally do to ensure developers follow those mitigations.
Pups with Progressives
DFL endorsed SD30 candidates will be at Otsego Dog Park for an informal meet and greet. We plan on bringing home-made dog treats for the pups and water for the humans. I’ll be there with my dog Harley as well.
We'll also be collecting pet supplies donations for local mutual aid groups, so feel free to donate if you so choose!
